Pequi Fruit (Caryocar brasiliense) Pequi (pay-KEY) fruit oil is native to Brazil. It is an edible fruit that is considered an acquired taste. However, for the skin, it is another story. This fruit has an amazing chemical profile that is beneficial for anyone looking to both fight hyperpigmentation AND wrinkles. Containing acids quercetin, quinic, and gallic, this oil fights free radicals and inhibits enzymes that erase our collagen and protein stores, and that causes hyperpigmentation.
